(Of Blessed Memory)
Zaidy Avraham Basch was a soft-spoken man that I met while davening at the Adas Bnei Yisroel Shul in Chicago. He was a regular participant in Rabbi Yaakov Schnell's Kli Yakar shiur after the morning minyan. He was a holocaust survivor who did not just survive, but held onto his yiddishkeit, and raised his children in the ways of our proud Jewish heritage.
